FROM THE 19th OF JULY

We at The Barbershop strive to protect and keep everyone safe from the covid 19 Virus .

From the 19th of July our Prime Minster is easing the restrictions in England , this is indeed great news following the nightmare we have had to live through

Boris Johnson MP was very clear in his statement on the 12 July, that the pandemic is not over and that we must all proceed with absolute caution.
Clearly, the dictate from Government has come to an end, so how does our industry move forward safely, continuing to look after the health, safety and hygiene of our customers and staff?

There is no specific answer to this, as has been said, it is up to us as to how we proceed. However, the virus is not predictable and therefore we have to make a judgment, based upon measured decisions as to what we think we should continue to do once the restrictions are lifted on the 19 July.

We have always had an obligation under ‘duty of care’ to ensure the  importance we place on the health, safety and hygiene of our businesse, premises, customers and staff and as such following the Prime Ministers statement, this ‘duty of care’ should still be uppermost in our minds.

The last thing our sector needs is any further lockdowns, so taking care now and in the future is extremely important

We will continue to keep you safe by

  • Continue to ventilate our premises as we have been doing.
  • Cleaning the workstations between customers is still continuing
  • Whilst up keeping the importance of washing hands regularly will also be continued.
  • Continuing to wear facemasks whilst looking after customers and whilst in the salon/barbershop environment will really help to keep everyone much safer.

We hope that you as customers and friends will support us in our decision in still wearing your  masks for the time your in the shop.

We Thank you all for your continued support
